Sacristan volunteers make the necessary immediate preparations to celebrate the Eucharist on weekdays and weekends. Arriving before mass, they set-up the bread and wine, altar linens, books, and other things needed to celebrate the Eucharist. Following Mass, they collect the items again, clean if necessary, and then store in their proper places.
